A quick announcement, I will be speaking at the DC PHP Conference next week (Oct 19 and 20), and I will be attending the Zend PHP Conference a few weeks after that (Oct 30 - Nov 2).

I wanted to post this announcement to see if there are people from the Qcodo community who are attending either or both of these, and if so, if people would be interested in doing a meetup or a Qcodo BOF session.  It would be completely open-ended (no agenda whatsoever), so we could use the time to talk about anything you or the community wishes to talk about... it might be fun. =)

Post back if you're planning on attending the either of the conferences and whether or not you'd be interested in something like this.

I'll be at ZendCon (which is in San Jose, CA). I would love to meet up with everyone.

Among other things, I would like to show people what I've been working on and see what other people have been working on. I'm very interested to see all of the practical applications built using QCodo.

I might be coming to the ZendCon, still trying to get permission from the higher-ups here at work.  I'd love to do a meetup if I make it.

Any chance you will upload your presentations to the web site or
are they going to be the same as the presentations you have given
in MySQl COn?

I'll try to... the presentation I'm giving on Friday is actually much more demo-based... there won't be too many slides (if any).

If i get some time I may try and do some screencast recordings of the demo... as well as some updated demos of Beta 3.  But my schedule is looking pretty tight right now for the rest of the calendar year... so I might not be able to get to it for a while... just a head's up.

Guys... wanted to write a quick note to say that internet access, strangely, has been spotty for me since flying out for the DC PHP Conference... I'll try and catch up on posts/emails tonight... but my access will be limited until I get back home this weekend.

Besides that, DC PHP Conference is going well.  It's a bit of a shame that there is no internet access at the conference, especially for a web development conference (apparently, it's a logistical issue with the hotel venue), and the attendence is definitely smaller than the larger (e.g. MySQL, Zend, etc.) conferences...

But even though it's a small group, it's definitely a very committed group.  Some great developers... pretty good breakout sessions, and great discussions.  Can't wait for day 2.
