I just wanted to let people know of a couple of conferences I will be speaking at this week and next week...

DC PHP Conference

The DC PHP Conference <http://www.dcphpconference.com/> will be at GWU this Wednesday - Friday, Nov 7 - 9.  I will be speaking on Wednesday and on Thursday.  I had the privilege of speaking last year as well.  And while many conferences now-a-days are starting to have more and more of a sterile and corporate feel to them, the DC PHP Conference is refreshingly different.  Although it is quite a bit smaller than most conferences, it takes advantage of its size to be significantly more personal and intimate, with the understanding that the most important part of the PHP Community is, well, community.

If you're in the DC/MD/VA area, I encourage you to swing on by.

NASA Science Web Federation

The NASA Science Web Federation will be having their Web Workshop <http://sciencewebfed.hq.nasa.gov/> in the Silicon Valley area next week, Tuesday - Friday, Nov 13 - 16.  I will be speaking on Wednesday afternoon.  This is the first year NASA will be hosting a conference specifically aimed at web developers in the NASA community... it should be an exciting week of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

If you are a NASA Civil Servant or Contractor, I'd encourage you to sign up!
