Hey everyone, along with trying to get the current/latest 0.4.7 released marked as stable (for those who didn't see my note -- please go through and test examples.qcodo.com as much as you can and let me know if you encounter any errors/issues - thanks!), I've also implemented a new RSS feed for Qcodo.com...

Now there are two feeds:

  • Qcodo.com Forums RSS Feed is the original RSS feed that shows all Forum topics, responses, etc.
  • Qcodo.com RSS Feed is the a new RSS feed which provides you with ALL the content, updates, changes, contributions, etc. that have been made, not just in Forums, but anywhere on the site, including Wiki posts, issues and QPM packages.

Please post if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, etc.  Hopefully, this can be used as a tool to keep tabs on what's going on in and across all of Qcodo.com... Thanks!

Yeah... I use Mail App for the Mac, and the RSS feeds don't always come in very timely...

I can't figure out why or what is causing the issue -- we're just using the basic QRssFeed control which is based on the RSS 2.0 spec as defined here.

I'm not sure if it's just an issue with the Mac Mail client, or if there's some sort of issue with our feed.

Feel free and examine the spec as well as the raw RSS feed at http://www.qcodo.com/rss/rss.php.  If you see anything that doesn't look quite up to spec, definitely feel free and post.

I found a misconfiguration of Thunderbird, after reconfiguring it is parsing correctly the rss file.
So now I receive all messages.

This was the problem:
some time ago i deleted the rss url for a folder because the site is not working anymore but i wanted to retain the archive.
From this moment i was not be able to chenge anymore the configuration of the “News & Blogs” subscription but it seemed to work correctly.
