QualVu is seeking full time Mid-to-Senior Web Developers who will report to the CTO.

QualVu has developed the industry’s leading web-based video platform for the market research industry, and has attracted some of the country’s leading capital investors to fuel our efforts to attract world-class engineering and development talent. This is a very exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated web developer who will immediately join our fast growing team.

Qualified candidates must be team-oriented, extremely self-motivated, professional software engineers focused on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions. You must be a quick learner, confident in your ability to attack and take ownership of all areas in an enterprise-class, tiered software solution and be ready to “hit the ground running”. This is not a position for graphic designers, application assemblers, or desktop application developers.

Required Skills:
•    3+ years experience building commercial PHP5 object-oriented web applications
•    3+ years designing relational databases and writing advanced SQL queries
•    3+ years Linux
•    1+ JavaScript (Ajax, advanced DOM manipulation, fundamentals)
•    Ability to work in collaborative teams and communicate effectively
•    Ability to prioritize and work on multiple concurrent projects
•    Solid understanding of coding standards, version control, best practices, algorithms, and data structures

Desired Skills:
•    MySQL
•    jQuery
•    Qcodo/Qcubed
•    Installing and maintaining database server software in a redundant environment
•    Linux systems administration
