testing testing

This TESTBUG is all about QPM testing

###

1) Get started
Install PHP5.2* for Windows
Download the latest Qcodo

###

2) Problem using qcodo.bat shows the error message “wrong path”

So open cli/qcodo.bat and update the path to your php.exe

You have to take care of the path and put it in quotes when having a space in there
set PHP_COMMAND=“c:\Program Files\PHP\php.exe”

###

3) Problem qcodo says error: configuration.inc.php missing

You have to move the following files in the includes/ directory:
* configuration.inc.php
* QApplication.class.php

both reside in includes/qcodo/_core

4) Sumit a patch

D:\QcodoPatches\qcodo-0.4.2copy1>
cli\qcodo.bat qpm-download -p=lalala cuser/TESTBUGpackage

###

tronics

tronics... i'm a bit confused with this post.  Is this still an open issue/bug?  Or should I go ahead and close it?

Sorry to cause confusion.

Look when I first tried to use QPM I ran into a few beginner problems - other people using this might run into similar problems when they are starting out.

So I set up this testbug, where people can practice to submit patches.
When someone can try before buy ;) it is easier for people to adopt the QPM.

I do not know if it is ok for you but since the initial bug was opened on error (already covered in another bugreport), I thought that changing it to something usable might be a good thing to do.

If it is possible to still submit updates to this patch please close it,
if this is against your intentions please remove the bug.

I will put the findings above also in the wiki.

Cheers,
tronics
